Why I'm Running

The Gilford Budget committee plays a valuable oversight role in the development of the town and school budgets. They also have a great amount of authority and responsibility.

We need committee members who understand how to work with town and school employees and other elected officials - challenging them to fully support all of their budgetary requests, while at the same time respecting and seeking out their expertise.

We need a committee that can earn the trust of all town residents, so that when their seal of approval - or disapproval - appears beside a line item or a warrant article, voters can be confident that the decision was reached after a full, fair and balanced analysis.

We need to work together to move the town forward, instead of driving wedges between this group and that group in order to further the political goals of a few.

I am seeking your vote because I want to help the committee achieve these goals.
