Sub-Committee Assignments
After an overview of the budget is presented to the full committee by each town department head, subcommittees hold separate meetings with the department head to review their budgets in greater detail, ask questions, and make changes.
The subcommittee later returns to the full budget committee and presents their findings, and to support any changes they have made. After discussion is complete, the committee votes on the budget numbers for that department.
