Police Department Includes wages, equipment, training, uniforms, vehicle maintenance, radio maintenance, K-9 maintenance. 1. First Draft Budget Numbers Numbers developed by town staff, prior to discussion and / or modifications by the budget committee. Police Department budget spreadsheet 2. Discussion / Issues / Changes There were a limited number of issues in the police department budget this year. Most notable were the replacement of three vehicles. The police cruisers are on a replacement schedule that calls for 2 new purchases each year. The larger vans / 4-wheel drive vehicles are replaced every 5 years. So....this was a three-vehicle year. The purchase of tasers was a big topic. The police provided a demonstration as well. Click here to see the complete subcommittee report. 3. Final Draft Budget Numbers No changes.
